What is Authsnap?
Authsnap is a team of medical professionals from varying backgrounds who know firsthand the devastating impact of a denied health insurance claim. Every time a claim is denied, a patient is left without care, and for many, that can mean the difference between life and death.
Authsnap’s mission is to help people overturn denied claims as efficiently and effectively as possible. By streamlining the appeals process, they’ve reduced the time it takes to review a claim from one to two hours down to just five to ten minutes. In urgent situations, time matters and it shouldn’t all be spent wrestling with insurance paperwork.
How does it work?
Each case is unique and requires its own finely tuned appeal letter. Authsnap uses machine learning to create custom letters based on an individual’s specific needs.
So, what exactly is machine learning? It’s a method of training AI models to improve and adapt over time without the need for constant user input.
For Authsnap, that means a powerful system capable of generating appeal letters quickly with a high probability of success. After the initial letter has been drafted, it’s reviewed by a team of claim specialists to ensure correctness and quality before being sent to the insurance company.
