Now Accepting Speaker Nominations for Upcoming Events
At Innovate Marquette, we’re always looking for new voices and innovative ideas to showcase at our events. From Women in Entrepreneurship to Tech Talks and Innovation Week, our events touch on a variety of topics meant to inform, inspire, and spark curiosity within our entrepreneurial community.
We are seeking a diverse group of dynamic speakers to add to our events roster and invite you, our community, to help frame the future of our events and programming. The ideal candidate is someone who is:
- Passionate about entrepreneurship, innovation, or technology.
- Trusted in their field, recognized by their peers as an industry leader.
- Expert knowledge and/or experience with one or more of these topics:
- Starting or growing a business
- Outdoor Innovation
- Creative Technology
- Sustainable Technology
Deadline: It is best to get your suggestions to us as early as possible. However, there is no deadline for nominating a speaker. Once you submit a nomination, it will stay in our database to be considered for future events.

Yes, self-nominations are welcome.
Yes! There is no limit to the number of speakers you can nominate. However, no need to submit the same person multiple times. It really only takes one suggestion.
It is best to get your suggestions to us as early as possible so that we can take it into consideration. However, there is no deadline for nominating a speaker. Once you submit a nomination, it will stay in our database to be considered for future events.
The format of our events vary. Much like our clients’ ideas, we like to keep things fresh and innovative! If you think someone, or yourself, is best suited for a particular speaking role/format, feel free to include that in your nomination submission.

No, we welcome speaker nominations from the Upper Peninsula and beyond.
We will evaluate your nomination and will share this information with staff members and third parties selected to review speaker nominations. Due to volume, we are not able to respond personally to each suggestion. Someone from Innovate Marquette will be in touch if needed.
